Helping people make informed decisions about their housing
Person-centred advice and support for people facing complex housing challenges. Free, across the whole of Scotland.
Which of these sounds like you?
Pick whichever feels closest. You really do not need to know the right words for any of it.
We can help individuals or organisations navigate Scotland's complex housing and homelessness landscape
We work nationally, primarily with disabled people, older adults and veterans who are at risk of homelessness, or who need help finding a home that better supports their needs.
One of our brokers will sit down with you, take the time to understand what you need, and work out what your options genuinely are. Then we stay with you while you go after them. In practice that might mean talking you through a shared equity scheme, chasing an adaptation grant, filling in a housing application together, or picking up the phone to your council on your behalf.
What we will not do is hand you a leaflet and wish you luck. We will work with you for as long as you need us.
Our services
Everyone gets the same free, one to one advice. Three of our services are built around particular groups of people, and if none of those quite fits, our main advice service is there for you.
Supporting the sector covers two things: consultancy, training and events, and research, policy and strategy. If you would like to talk either through, email Ben, our Fundraising and Development Manager. Referring someone goes through Get help.
Launching our Making Moves interactive tool
A new way for young disabled people to explore their housing options at their own pace, before they even fill in a form.
This is the editable spotlight panel — the team swaps in whatever matters most right now: a report, an event, a campaign, a story.

Talk to us about your housing
You do not need to have any of it worked out first. Tell us roughly what is going on, and we will help you find your way from there.
In an emergency, call 999. Please do not use our form.
